Couch To 5K Music
I've written up some music to facilitate
Couch to 5K.
The idea is that you warm up for 5
minutes (walking), alternate between running and walking for a total
of 20 minutes, and then cool down for 5 minutes. Thus,
the entire workout is 30 minutes. If you seriously
have trouble running, then start by walking. Just walk fast
during the run time and slow in the walk/rest time.
I think the music is pretty self
explanatory. The warm up is a happy theme with maracas
in the background. The running theme is running scales
and arpeggios with a fast snare drum in the background.
The walking/resting theme is chords on a vibraphone.
I've also included an added feature for
those of you who like to run straight out (not laps) and
then turn around. At the exact halfway point in the
routine, there will be a chime to let you know to turn
around and head home.

As I write more, I'll post them.
Be warned, these are medium sized files since
that are about 30 minutes a piece. I encoded them at
the lowest level possible (without loss of quality) to cut
